Galagonidae
Galagos, also known as bushbabies, are known for their vocalizations which closely
resemble a human baby crying. Their hindlegs are noticeably longer than their
forelimbs which makes them very adept at leaping, up to 12 meters. They are able
to move rapidly through the trees, leaping from branch to branch. Galagos have
slender bodies, bushy tails, and their ears are large and mobile. They generally
eat leaves, insects, fruit, or gum secreted by trees. They are nocturnal and can
be found in thick vegetation or hollow trees during the day.
