Primates

Cheirogaleidae family consists various species of Lemur ['lE-m&r]. Cheirogaleidae are small mouse-like primates with an unusually long tail, large eyes which are set close to each other, and thin and membranous ears. They are only found in Madagascar where they live solitarily or in pairs. They are nocturnal, foraging at night feeding on insects and fruit. They are also excellent leapers and climbers. Cheirogaleidae generally give birth to twins.
